This year’s batch of Wild Carrot Seed Tincture is now available for purchase at sunstoneherbs.com in 1, 2 and 4 ounce bottles with droppers. This tincture is made using organic grape alcohol and the seeds from freshly harvested Wild Carrot (Daucus carota), commonly known as Queen Anne’s Lace.

For information about using Wild Carrot Seed please refer to Robin Rose Bennett’s website. Robin has compiled quite a bit of information about wild carrot and is now conducting a study on using wild carrot for conscious conception.

I need daucus carota leaves. Why is it no one seems to have them? I can find seeds, blossoms, whole herb, etc. but I really need leaves. Any ideas? Might you have some on hand? The leaves are EXCELLENT for disolving kidney stones. Help me if you can. thanks! Barb

How do you use the leaves, Barb? Tincture? Tea? Dried? Fresh? Dose?

  3. Hi Barb,
I don’t know anyone who sells wild carrot leaves. Sorry I can’t be of more help. Let us know if you find a source. Jen

Tincture question. I made a batch of tincture using ground seeds and covered with 100% alcohol (Everclear). Everything looked great until I added some distilled water to it. It turned cloudy immediately! What a chemical surprise that was. Is there any hope to get it clear again? It looks horrible but I guess it’s ok to use. I was advised to add more Everclear until it clears up, but I don’t want it that strong. I want it diluted so it won’t burn your tongue and mouth.
    Thanks in advance,

I’d discard it and make a new batch. I wouldn’t risk getting pregnant.
