First Pizzas From Our Cob Oven

We still need to put the finish coat on our cob oven, but we decided to fire it up on this beautiful day and make a couple of pizzas for lunch. To see how we built this oven, read our previous post here.

Tree removes the pizzas from the oven. Until we build a snug-fitting wood door, a piece of wood with damp rags around it works fine to keep the heat in while the pizza bakes.

    How did you build it and what are the ingredients for the crust, etc?

  3. The cheese is fresh mozzarella from cow’s milk. Crust is simply my famous bread dough pulled thin and spread with olive oil and toppings. Read the blog post on the cob oven to see how I built it! đŸ™‚
